The Moment I Left the SOE


In 2026, I finally made this decision.


I worked in a state-owned enterprise for 3 years, with a monthly salary of 200 yuan. The seemingly stable life made me increasingly anxious. I started asking myself: is this the life I want?


Why I Chose to Leave


  • 1. **No growth** - Same work every day, nothing new to learn
  • 2. **Too low income** - 200 yuan/month in Guangzhou is impossible to survive
  • 3. **No future** - This "stability" is actually the most unstable choice
  • 4. **Inner depression** - I started feeling meaningless
